Bret Rosen

Bret Rosen joined Explorador in 2008 as a Co-Portfolio Manager and Senior Analyst. Prior to joining Explorador, Bret was a Vice President and Emerging Markets Product Manager at PIMCO, in Newport Beach, CA.

Previous to that, he spent three years at Trust Company of the West, in Los Angeles, as a sovereign analyst responsible for coverage of Latin American economies and financial markets.

From 1996-2000, Bret spent four years at Goldman Sachs in New York City, in both Latin America equity research and international equities trading, and was a short-term consultant with the International Finance Corporation in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2002.

Bret received a bachelor's degree from University of California, Berkeley, an MSc from London School of Economics and an MBA from the Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles, and speaks Spanish and Portuguese..
